Yesterday, a helicopter flying in from Port-
Harcourt owned by Bristow Helicopters crashed
into the Oworosoki end of the Lagos lagoon
around 3pm.
The news which has dominated the Nigerian media
for the last 24 hours has already been subjected to
a probe by the Accident Investigation Bureau.
Meanwhile, family members of the pilot of the ill-
fated helicopter, based in the United States of
America, have taken to micro-blogging site,
Twitter, to request for more details on the crash
and also mourn the loss of their relation. The
pilot’s name is Captain Joseph “Jay” Wyatt.

which they promised to assist survivors and
families of the deceased.
